The Candian Homelessness Research Network has as part of its mandate to support and promote the work of new scholars, especially graduate students, undertaking research in the field of homelessness. It is anticipated that grad students will participate in the development of research projects and networks, as well as the online community. Students can engage with our homelessness partners through online collaboration, participation in our network meetings and by attending conferences and workshops. Limited funding is available to support travel to such events. As a result of this initiative, students will be more effectively connected to a national network of scholars, practitioners and policy makers, will have greater access to homelessness research in Canada, and more vehicles (print and online) to present their own work.
