Change in Nutrition and Food Security in Two Inuit Communities, 1992-1997

Evaluates the impact of the Food Mail Program on food consumption, nutrition, food security and the health of Aboriginal people in isolated communities, nutrition surveys of Inuit women aged 15 to 44, a nutritionally high-risk group, undertaken in Repulse Bay and Pond Inlet in 1997. The changes made to the Food Mail Program have reduced the cost of nutritious perishable food.
