Continuing Education, Join Together, National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University
Join Together, a program of the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, offers free online courses, including:

• The Role of Medication in Substance Use Treatment
• An Introduction to Medication for Alcohol Dependence

These courses are designed to help addictions counselors understand brain physiology and how medications can be part of a comprehensive treatment program that helps patients regain control over their lives.

Join Together is a National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC)-Approved Education Provider. Continuing education units provided through this program will be accepted toward national credentialing by the NAADAC Certification Commission and also by many of the individual State licensing/certification bodies.
