Homelessness Counts: Changes in Homelessness from 2005 to 2007
This report analyzes homeless count data collected in January 2007 and compares those data to homeless counts collected in January 2005. The report reveals that some progress has been made toward ending homelessness nationally and in individual states, as well as among homeless subpopulations. These data represent the most recent comprehensive homeless counts. The progress documented in this report occurred during a time of both relative economic stability and increased commitment by states and communities toward ending homelessness.(Authors)
