Housing as a Socio-Economic Determinant of Health: Assessing Research Needs

The authors begin by pointing out that health improves the higher one goes on the socio-economic spectrum. This is not just a phenomenon at the margins--with homeless people having poor health. They maintain that health gradually improves with increasing socio-economic status. Housing, the marker for which they call a contributor.
