Involving the Homeless and Formely Homeless Clients in Projects and Programs to Address Homelessness

This study examined the ways in which twelve agencies that address homelessness involve their homeless clients in the work of the agency itself, through participation in governance, development of policies, work (both volunteer and paid), research and evaluation, building design and development, creative activities, community projects, and training and mentorship projects.
