Physical Housing Conditions and the Well-Being of Children
Looks at the effect of stable housing and a good neighbourhood on the well Being of Children. Shows that 15% of Canadian children are in "core Housing need"- in dangerous/unstable housing and that alternative housing was not affordable. Health problems caused by unstable housing include viral and bacterial infections, injury, and other physical and mental health problems. (HRDC-2001)
