Don't have access to the article? Read about our open access policy here.
Risk factors for homelessness were examined prospectively among 82 recent participants (aged 20-52 yrs) in a substance abuse treatment program. Low levels of support from friends, greater depression, and recent substance use were bivariately associated with homelessness 2 mo following completion of the program. However, friend support was the only factor associated with homelessness after controlling for other significant bivariate predictors. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA, all rights reserved)
