Based on a survey conducted with 295 rooming house residence, this report provides a portrait on an often poorly understood population. Rooming houses are considered an undersiable housing situation, just above homelessness, and yet they provide the homeless with affordable housing. The study provides an inside look at the lives of rooming house residents.
