Struggles for Access: Examining the Educational Experiences of Homeless Young Women and Girls in Canada

This research project set out to explore the educational experiences of streetinvolved and/or homeless young women and girls in Canada, especially the role of educational institutions in the lives of homeless and/or streetinvolved young women to shed much needed light on the barriers to access, lack of support, and alienation from teaching and learning environments faced by homeless young women in the educational arena.
