Homelessness and drug use often go hand in hand. Although services may exist to house and support drug users, they are not always accessible or desirable for some of thee most vulnerable service users. This increases the risks not only to the drug user, but also to the wider community. This article discusses the importance of developing a wide range of services that can provide for even the most complex cases, if the risks to both drug user and community are to be managed effectively.
