Two chapters are particularly useful for research: "Population Geography" and "Aboriginal Economy and Society." The first chapter mentioned deals with northern demographics, labour movement, economic issues, and the reasons for very few job opportunities for Aboriginal people. The latter chapter describes the social conditions of the northern Aboriginal population, their education levels, and unemployment statistics.
