This study is a grassroots attempt to understand the causes and effects of homelessness. Interviewers spent time in the communities with various actors interacting within the wide community net of homelessness. Most important to the study is the attempt made by the homeless people they interviewed to theorize and finds solutions for their own conditions. The study is an innovative and imaginative alternative to mainstream studies on homelessness.
