Description: This week WRNI and the Rhode Island Foundation held a special forum looking at poverty and homelessness in Rhode Island. In our This I Believe segment, we talk with Constance Vergowven, who has experienced poverty and homelessness firsthand.

Vergowven lives in Newport and works with the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless.
