ATEH MISSIONThe Alliance to EndHomelessness (ATEH) is a non-partisan coalition taking action to endhomelessness.

ATEH Priorities:   Advocacy~ Partnerships ~ Research

  • A coalition of 70+ Member Agencies that provide services, emergency shelter and supports to people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, including helping people to find and then to stay in their housing and to gain access to supports such as health care, home care, counseling, employment assistance and childcare. Members support ATEH to act on its priorities.
  • Came together in 1995 as a response to workers in shelters, health care agencies and housing providers who wanted to work in a more coordinated manner to improve service to more efficiently move people out of homelessness while communicating consistent and consensual messages to each other and to the broader community.
  • Focus is on Ottawa residents, including those who are homeless and at risk of homelessness, as well as on municipal, provincial and federal advocates and related networks, community decision makers, funders, politicians, the media and professionals and volunteers in the homelessness sector.
