Homelessness: Program Planning and Evaluation
Program planning and evaluation includes assessing the progress and lessons learned from the process of planning and implementing specific projects or initiatives. It may involve setting up evaluative frameworks and tools; arranging case studies; and, facilitating planning exercises such as preparing a strategic plan and program logic models with staff, managers, Directors, members of the community, partners, etc. It is a process of measuring outcomes against previously set targets in order to:1) get an idea of what has been accomplished; 2) learn from shortcomings; and, 3) figure out how best to move forward in the future.
