This month our featured training coincides with the release of a new report on women, girls and gender-diverses people’s housing and homelessness. Our training on Homelessness among Women and Gender-Diverse People will be helpful to people who work with women and gender diverse people at risk or experiencing housing need or homelessness. The training is also relevant to those working in criminal justice, mental health and gender-based violence.
This training explores women and gender-diverse people’s needs with regard to exiting homelessness and transitioning to permanent, stable housing. Through videos, case examples, and interactive activities, the training will enhance participants’ understanding of the challenges and barriers that women and gender diverse people experience such as discrimination, violence, equity issues and systems failures.
