Holistic Service Delivery

The definition of holistic relates to the idea that things should be studied as a whole and not just as a sum of their parts. Poverty is multi-faceted; it overlaps and intersects areas such as housing, clean water, health, transportation, justice, early learning and childcare, and skills and employment. A holistic approach involves people self-assessing their level of poverty across various dimensions and getting connected to wrap-around, coordinated services that address their individual needs.

Holistic service delivery is underpinned by the concept that there is a link between one's economic health and more general 'well-being', allowing people to reach their full physical, spiritual, mental and emotional potential.
