Association of Shelter-in-Place Hotels With Health Services Use Among People Experiencing Homelessness During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This study examines the relationship between placement in a shelter-in-place (SIP) hotel and the use of acute health services for people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings suggest that placement in a SIP hotel is connected to the reduced use of acute health services among people with previous high use.
