Lived Experience as Expertise: Considerations in the Development of Advisory Groups of People with Lived Experience of Homelessness and/or Poverty has been developed for use by individuals, organizations, community groups and all orders of government interested in establishing an advisory group of people with lived experience of homelessness and/or poverty. It includes a variety of techniques and promising practices related to initiating an advisory group, recruitment, facilitation, logistics, and helping a group to remain strong over time.
