COVID-19 has led to an increase in intimate partner violence (IPV) - a leading cause of women's homelessness. This article analyzes effective national frameworks used internationally to inform recommendations for the development of a Canadian national legislative and funding framework to support coordinated prevention efforts during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
