This literature review examines research on the stigma related to homelessness, how this stigma affects access to health care services, and therefore how stigma affects health outcomes for people experiencing homelessness. It is pertinent to examine this relationship because experiences of homelessness are associated with poorer health, higher levels of chronic disease and higher premature mortality.
