Catherine Tarimo
Shelter Diversion & Evictions Prevention Project Coordinator
Catherine Tarimo is a Shelter Diversion and Eviction Prevention Project Coordinator at the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness. Her experience spans over four years working in various donor-funded research projects both in Tanzania and Canada focusing on health and education, which have enhanced her project planning and implementation skillset. Catherine holds a master’s degree in Public Policy and Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia-Vancouver and a Master of Public Administration from Mzumbe University, Tanzania. She is deeply committed to community engagement and advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in community development projects and is keen to transfer her skills and knowledge towards homelessness prevention in Canada. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys reading a non-fiction book or spending time with her kids.
