End Homelessness St. John's (EHSJ) coordinated the 2022 biennial Point-in-Time (PiT) Count, which took place overnight in November 23, 2022, and during the day of November 24, 2022. The PiT Count is an initiative that communities around Canada undertake to gain insights and snapshots of those experiencing homelessness in their communities. The snapshot of those experiencing homelessness in St. John's included individuals and families in emergency and transitional shelters, sleeping outside (rough sleeping), and those in transitional residential treatment facilities.
