This study examines the prevalence and risk factors associated with incarceration among older adults experiencing homelessness. The findings suggest that older adults experiencing homelessness have a high risk of incarceration, and that here is a need for targeted interventions to address the high ongoing risk of incarceration among older adults experiencing homelessness. Namely: targeted supports for substance use and homelessness, and reforming parole and probation.
