Our strategy for tackling homelessness was outlined in ‘Sustainable Communities: Homes for All’*. It aims to expand housing opportunities, including for those who need additional support, and for disadvantaged sections of society. We will reduce homelessness by offering a wider range of preventative measures and increasing access to settled homes, having the numbers living in temporary accommodation by 2010.
