Homelessness, Victimization and Crime: Knowledge and Actionable Recommendations

Homelessness, Victimization, and Crime: Knowledge and Actionable Recommendations is a research project funded by the Government of Canada’s National Homelessness Initiative. The project brings together knowledge from Canadian and International studies to look at patterns of victimization among the homeless and how the homeless come into contact with the criminal justice system. A list of actionable recommendations for all orders of government will be developed in consultation with the IPC Municipal Network as well as service providers, academics and community action groups from the following Canadian cities:
