The “By and For” approach the good practices guide and its application at Projet L.U.N.E.

The Project Libre, Unies, Nuancées, Ensemble (L.U.N.E.) piloted a project titled, L’intervention par les paires: D’où elles viennent où elles veulent aller!

The objective of this 15 months project was to document the testing of a broader service offering of their housing resource for disaffiliated women, design three collection tools, collect, and to document the use of hosting resources, the peer-to-peer approach to intervention, the appreciations of women who use accommodation and disseminate the results.

This guide provides an example of good practices that can be utilized, even though the organization does not believe or claim to have, they have found all the answers, or the only and best way to do it.

This project was funded in part by the Government of Canada's Homelessness Partnering Strategy’s Innovative Solutions to Homelessness program. The opinions and interpretations provided in the publications are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Government of Canada.
