North Shore Deep Woods and Inter-Urban Homeless Outreach Mapping Project

The Lookout Housing and Health Society (LHHS) piloted a project titled North Shore Deep Woods and Inter-Urban Homeless Outreach Mapping Project.
 
The objective of this 10 month project, was to pilot and allow service professionals from the Vancouver North Shore to better serve those who are homeless by using a more educated approach to accessing and serving the homeless by using real data gathered specifically from the North Shore utilizing digital technology as a tool to better connect services to clients (including youth, Indigenous people, women fleeing violence and veterans).
 
Ultimately connect them to long-term stable housing solutions, and supports Develop strategic partnerships between service organizations, funders, unique players (such as North Shore Rescue) to coordinate resources and provide streamlined services to clients who are living in the deep woods and inter-urban areas on the North Shore.
